applyCF Failed | action-pre-apply-cf

Hi Community,

I get the following error when I try to run the applyCF.sh script:

2025-03-21_14:22:16: Executing command: action-pre-apply-cf
Exiting due to error. Return code = 1

======================================================
Note that the CF repo is successfully installed, but the applyCF fails.

I need you help.

Hi Thaha,
the error that you mentioned is a very common error and can have different kind of potential root-causes. Can you please open a case with HCL support to check it in detail? A good starting point is to share the <wp_profile>/ConfigEngine/log files with the support team as well. The ConfigTrace.log should provide more information about the root-cause.

Hi Taha,

yes you can update directly from CF17 to CF224. Just install the binaries and run the applyCF.sh script.
