Applets not work after update

Hello,

after we have updated our Notes Client from 5.0.13 to 6.5.3, on some workstations java applets will not work any more.

The status bar of the Notes Client shows these messages:

Connected to /

Asking server for connection to %2f

Error connecting to server %2f: Server error: Unable to find path to server

After these messages, the document is open, but the applet will not show.

The message is ok. We don’t have a server %2f, but the right name of the server would be /.

Can someone tell me, why Notes has encoded the ‘/’ (slash) to ‘%2f’?

Before the update, all applets have worked fine.

Is someone knowing this phenomenon?

Hello Ralf,we are having EXACTLY the same problem after migrating (from 5.011 to 6.5.3). I can additionally confirm that this does not appear on all workstations which does not make troubleshooting easier :wink:

Any news on this ?
