AppendToTextList and "non string values"

In my application I struggle to get a number into a text list. All the code works until a field has a number instead of text.

The code is:

Set Item = doc.GetFirstItem(“column9”)

Call Item.AppendToTextList(TempDoc.Risk1(0))

Risk1 is a text field but the value is created from the value in 3 radiobutton fields (1 to 10 in each) and the code for the Risk1 field is:

@TextToNumber(ColumnF1)@TextToNumber(ColumnA1)@TextToNumber(ColumnO1)

How can I solve this ?

There are a few different ways but the easist would be to do this:Call Item.AppendToTextList(cstr(TempDoc.Risk1(0)))

Or in your Risk1 field:

@Text(@TextToNumber(ColumnF1)@TextToNumber(ColumnA1)@TextToNumber(ColumnO1))
