App for mobile and tablet?

Hi,

I'm starting with Visualizer Enterprise and I have a question that worries me a lot. I'm making an app for mobile, however, I'm thinking that if I want it to be responsive for tablet, it is done alone? I have to redo all the same screens but for tablet? Can anybody help me?

Thank you very much,

Greetings.

Hi @Rogvn Gunn ,

If you are asking about web channels then Visualizer 8.2 has responsive web feature. Please check the documentation link below,

Thank you,

Hi @Jovnne Knox,

First, thanks for your response.

Not quite. My question is this: right now I am creating an app for mobile but surely that app must also be used in tablets. Once you have it, can you run it on tablets and it does not lose shape? Or do I have to make the same screens for tablets?

Thank you very much,

Greetings.

Hi @Rogvn Gunn ,

Yes, you have to make screens for tablet.

You can generate single binary using universal build feature of Kony.

Thank you,

Hello @Jovnne Knox ,

Thank you for your answer, I'm going to take a look at the documentation that you just passed me. I thought that when creating screens for a mobile device they would autogenerate for a tablet, or something like that, I hope I do not have to create all the screens, both for mobile and tablet, it would be very expensive.

Thank you very much,

Greetings.

Hi @Jovnne Knox ,

I'm seeing the documentation and I have seen that they tell you to go to the "Product" tab and after "Build" but when I do that I receive this message, I do not know what I have to do, I am very lost in this topic.

Thank you very much,

Hi @Rogvn Gunn,

You need to logged in to generate build. Login with your mobile fabric credentials and you should not be seeing this prompt.

Thank you,

Hi @Jovnne Knox ,

Thanks for your response. Yes, I have come to log in but then I can not do anything, I can simply try the application developed by me in the app viewer of the company for Android. I would also like to know if you can see the app you are developing in an emulator as if it were Android Studio, or something similar.

Thank you very much,

Greetings.
