Hi @Gvvin White ,
Kony Visualizer works based on node and Chromium browser. Ideally it should not create issues to drain battery.
Probable reason can be its I/O operations are getting scanned by a anti-virus software and it might be slowing down the process overall.
Can you check your activity monitor while launching Visualizer and see which are the processes consuming memory /CPU the most?<Please attach screenshot>
Are you behind a proxy server? <Please attach blurred screenshot fo the same>
Also it will help to whitelist Visualizer installation directory and workspace in your anti virus software so that File I/O operations does not get slowed because of scanning.
To check the performance of your system in general for node server an chromium browser, can you run these benchmark tests locally and attach the scores?
These octane scores should be high, but in case of Accenture it was very low. We can check on TMB too.
1. https://developers.google.com/octane/ - This is for Chrome. (Ideal score 29000)
2. https://www.npmjs.com/package/benchmark-octane - This is for nodejs ( ideal time 35 seconds)
