I have a column in my view, which is time dependant. It will compared current date with Year Field, and display respective Actual or forecast numbers:
The period concerned is financialy year i.e April to March following Year:
Eg:, Column December,
It will first check what is current’s period, via @Month formula, If now is still November, it will pickup documents with status “Forecast”, and provided the value in the month “November”. But if the current months is October till April 2006, it will show the values in the “Actual” field.
What I did was to construct a long list of variable formula:
Subject: RE: Any tips how to simplify more than 50 @If formula for months dependant formula?
But my formula for forecast and dependant, depand on the FieldStatus, if FieldStatus=“Forecast”, it will take the value of FieldNov if calendar month now is December, otherwise it will be zero.
However, if current month is November, and if FieldStatus is actual, it will take the value from FieldActual.
Does that mean my formula will have to be long winded , like what I proposed earlier?
