Any new features in Designer for Hannover?

Hi All,

I am interested in knowing if there will be any enhancements to Designer in Domino 8.0 (Hannover). Would there be any new controls, features in the GUI? Would there be a new look to the existing GUI?

Specifically I would like to know if I will have to redesign the forms (GUI) for my application in order to be “in” with Hannover.

The Lotus team takes great pride in the backward compatibility of their product. They like to make not of the fact that you can run a v1 DB in v7. So I doubt they will really mess with form design in Hannover.

What I am more interested in is if they will have autocomplete for custom classes in LotusScript and Java in the v8 designer. The lack of autocomplete and an object browser in the current version are the most annoying things about developing in the Domino IDE…

Subject: It is a managed beta, not public, for the moment.

All good things come to those who wait… but the waiting can be annoying.
