We plan to add a group to our quickplace team. The group will have around 7000 members. Is there any limit to the no of people added in a group in nab. Can it cause any problems?

group and member and limit
The limit is 64k. You may have to create a main group and only have subgroups listed in it. I have a group with about 1100 entries and it’s 32,121 bytes (halfway to the limit). But it lists the members with their hierarchical name.

The “Domino Directory FAQ” (google it) has a pointer to the technote describing why Group.Members is limited to 32k - it is a summary text list so is subject to its limitations.

Notes multi-value fields have a limit of 64K.
You will need to use a series of groups - perhaps organized alphabetically.
