Hi All,lotus notes server crashes with error
An Application Error in Program nupdall.exe and server crashes.
Pls. help me i am new in lotus notes

You’ve probably got a corrupt view index. Updall runs every day at 2 A.M. Check the log.nsf and see if you can work out which database might be causing the problem and remove it temporarily from the server data directory.
If this stops the crash you can then try and fix the database using a combination of compact, fixup and updall.

And what kind of crash is it? Did you recieved Fault Recovery facility’s “Server Restart Notification” message to your mail db?
In that case, try to find out why it crashed - find words “fatal”.
