Hello. If anybody has a minute, I’d like to get some input on something. I have a scheduled agent inside a template that is signed by a “super user” (all access, all the time, etc) via admin client. This template is propogated to a large number of databases. When the agent runs, I get the error from the subject line inside the log for every .nsf out there (ie every database that inherets the design).
What I found odd is that if I went out into a single database where the agent failed (according to the log), performed a dummy edit and saved the agent back into the queue, the server ran it no problem.
After reviewing a lot of junk closely, i found a suspicious field on the agent document…the $POID field. I’m not sure if this is somehow interfering with anything…but…the agent design document was signed 11/13/2006 by “super user”…however the value in $POID is 11/03/2006. Then I checked out $POID on the single agent that I performed a dummy edit on and lo and behold, $POID is 11/13/2006.
My gut is telling me this $POID field and the date discrepancy is involved in this thing…but i’m not sure why. Anything i can scrape up on $POID is fairly innocuous…“it stands for “previous note OID” and is used to keep track of design refresh handling”.
One other thing that i noticed is that none of the other scheduled agents in this template that ran/run ok have $POID.
Any input on this train of thought or any other possible explanations for this is greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading.
