Are there any alternatives to the ND6 Upgrade Guide? This thing is so poorly arranged that I really cannot make sense of it. I have only performed one upgrade (R5.05 to R5.07) which went easily enough. Upgrading to ND6 appears to be quite involved but my problem is that information is scattered throughout the guide… not actually giving a step by step instruction. I know that if I do something out of sequence, or miss something, I am going to hose my installation.

A search of this forum should produce a reasonable upgrade process. Several people have documented good approaches, including testing, client/server upgrade order, and what steps to follow during an actual upgrade (i.e fixup, compact, design, etc).

Thanks for the response, Paul. I have spent a considerable amount of time searching this forum for bits and pieces and unfortunately, have come up empty handed. I am seriously considering tossing the ND6 CDs and remaining on R5.
