Accidentally tried to upgrade by 8.0.2 Notes client to 8.5 seperately from upgrading my installed Admin and Designer apps.
Install fails indicating cannot finish Allclient installation process.
Will try to install the AllClient (Notes + Admin + Designer) SW.
Sounds like you need to upgrade with a like kind upgrade. For single users, just the Notes client. For the handful of support folks the Allclient kit.
So if you are planning to upgrade several client users, make sure you use the proper SW install when building your new image.
