I was working on my design, I added 2 libraries and was adding a new agent to test some code in the 2 libraries added.
I suddenly started seeing errors when opening the NSF(mailfile).
When i looked in the designer ALL the libraries including the std MAIL libraries from original template cannot be seen.
I made a design copy of the nsf and even in that the Libraries cannot be seen, however the file size is 26mb.
compact and fixup have not helped. bookmark.nsf, destop8.dsk and cache.ndk have also been deleted, but to no avail
Subject: What errors?
It doesn’t do any good to tell us about errors you get unless you say the texts of the errors.
Did you try opening the database in NotesPeek to see whether it thinks the missing design elements are there?
Did you try removing it from Designer navigator and re-adding it?
This copy you’re talking about, is it a copy made before you started getting the errors?
Subject: Errors in mail file design corruption
Irregular Circular USE - DocExpProcessing
Error loading USE or USELSX module: CSUIViewClass
The first one pops up atleast 20 times as the mail file opens and then again as it closes
In the designer NO libraries can be seen.
Subject: More Info on errors
Sorry Andre, here is more info
I removed form Desktop and designer, compacted desktop, in another attempt I deleted the desktop but when I open the mail file, the Circular errors start popping up.
I am looking at it with Scan EZ right now, will post more fb.
Also, I copied the design to another local nsf, that new one is 26mb in size, so it looks like the elements are all there.
I have been working on that mail file for quite some time, till yesterday afternoon I ran into this problem.
never seen this before at all
Subject: we may need to see the db
if the design elements aren’t showing up in the lists of design elements, it may have a corrupted index of some sort. If when opening the design elements they are blank, it indicates a different problem.
This is not something known (that I can tell) - any more info or the db itself would be helpful.
thanks!
