Strange,
I would like tu use spam assassin in my client notes V5 Workstation XP.
The installation folder of my notes client is :
c:\lotus\notes
d:\lotus\notes\data
I decompresse the spamassassin folder in file in c:\etc.… and activate the dll with the command .
It is necessary to activate the dll in the folder where Notes is installed for Works ? perhaps the problems is here …
Because when a new mail arrive, I can see a message in my server console :
Agent printing : create ole object
Agent ‘spamassassin’ error, cannot create automation object in my domino console
What can i do ?

You wrote that you installed and registered the SpamAssasin DLLs on your Notes Client, which is wrong.You need to install them on the Domino Server instead, because thats where the mail router runs and triggers the agent…

DLLs and OLE objects requires special rights. For more information on agent sequrity, please take a look at Agent FAQ which has a lot of information on the subject. A good place to start is “Troubleshooting agents in R5 and R6” and also reading Designer help which lists all priviliedges (unrestricted) methods.
