I have an agent which runs over night and checks a set of criteria in a database. If a document matches this criteria it sends out an email to a few users along with a document link.When the user receives this mail and clicks on the document link however, it doesn’t open the document as it should, instead it opens the database at the view level.
Any ideas anybody ?

OK I worked it out myself. If the database doesn’t have a default view then it won’t work. Strange but true.

I used the “Simple Actions” method and ticked the box that says “Include link to document in the message” !!

OK, that’s weird then. Check that the agent signer has access to the documents, and that the people being sent the links have access.
Do the links look like document links or view links?

Hi,
The signer is me, and I have full admin rights.
It looks like it’s sending a View link, as it is a lot shorter than the link being sent by other agents which do actually open the document required.
