I have planned to upgrade two cluster domino server (one is admin server), from R6.x.x to R7.0.2. actually, the domino network include other mail server reside in other country, they are all in R6 or R7 version
Beside the upgrade, there is customized address book and customized dwa template in R7.0.2 version.
Below is my procedure to upgrade the first domino server (admin server)

Backup whole program and data directory.

Disable replication of the domino directory at the admin server and shut down domino server

Install the domino server program.

start domino server, uprade the domino directory, Press Y, when the domino server prompt to upgrade or not.

copy customized address book template(pubnames_custom.ntf) and mail template(dwa702_custom.ntf) to data directory.

refresh the design of address book and mail box with new template, updall the view and index of domino directory

Testing.

Enable replication of the domino directory, replicate the address book (names.nsf) to all domino server.

create a new replica of new addres book’s template and new mailbox’s template to all domino server.
