Hi all!I’m trying to use ADSync to register new users from Active Directory to Domino Directory. Things worked fine for a while, but now all new personrecords are created in the local addressbook on the client that runs ADSync, and not in the Domino Directory on the server.
The mail-database(s) for the user(s) are created correctly on the server, with ACL according to Profile.
I use one organizational profile, with a registration settings doc, a setup settings doc and a security settings doc …

Thanks for the reply David, but that doesn’t seem to be the case … if we create the users in Domino Administrator on the same client, everything works fine - it’s only the ADSync that insists on placing the users in the local Address Book.
Anyway, we came to close to production start on the new server without resolving the problem, so we gave up on the AdSync and created the users from a textfile instead. Too bad - it would have been nice to have the AdSync up and running …

Make sure that your effective policy has a valid registration server setting. You can use the policy synopsis tool to make sure the registration server is not empty (local).
