AdminP file Delete leaves NRF files - Why?

When we delete mail files and approve the deletion in Admin4.nsf, the AdminP process puts a Notes Redirect File (.NRF) in its place on the mail server. The contents of the file are:

[NotesRedirectFile]

Type=Delete

RepID=8525695A:006EB2C2

Title=<user’s name>

Why does this happen? Are these files eventually deleted by some process, or do we need to manually delete them? What is the purpose of these files?

We are asking because we would like to know if there is a way to force AdminP to delete these.

TIA.

Dennis

This does appear to be a bug, and it is undergoing investigation as SPR # RCOR7JTHV4. So, for now, the only way to remedy the situation is deleting it manually. Or you could possibly create a script of your own to do so.
