Adding External Resources (Outside Domino) to Domino via Web Services

Hello,

We are in the process of writing some code that access’s resource data from an outside source. We would like to have these resource’s show up on the user’s calendar like the way rooms currently show up. My question is, do we have to use the existing R&R form/db to store this information, or can we create a different form/db and have it populate the user’s calendar? Can there only be 1 R&R database per user ?

I am not sure I clearly understand what you mean by “show up on the user’s calendar like the way rooms currently show up”. Are you referring to in the C&S forms, the Calendar view, a tooltip popup, a Federated Calendar or something else. Could you please describe what you want a bit more?

As for R&R restrictions, there is no fixed limit on the number of R&R dBs that a user can use or that they can reserve from a single meeting invite. The only real limit is the size of the single item on the reservation (although tooltips may have their own size limits for obvious reasons)
