Adding addresses

I have a user who is using Windows 7 - 64bit, Lotus Notes 8.0.2 French install.

The issue is when he goes into create a new memo he would rather click “TO” and select the people to send the message to. He will scroll through the address book, find the name he is looking for, and double click the name. This will cause lotus to lock up. If he is to locate the name, and click to add it to the TO, CC, or BCC field it doesn’t lock up lotus.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreaciated as it is a pain to have lotus lock up like it does.

EXACT same issue - user double clicks on name in address listing and lotus goes to not responding then debug mode then closes. Any other form other than double-click seems to work fine. User upgraded to lotus 8 after laptop install to win7 64bit and is used to double clicking names in lotus for a number of years in previous versions.
