My question is that I am not sure which hidden fields need to be populated through an import to make the imported address book records like a normal address book Person addition.
The only field I know if the hidden field called “Type” and put “Person” in that field. What other hidden fields do I need to populate.

Are you referring to your personal address book? Or the Domino Directory?
If the former - a simple import will work fine.
If you want to import people into the Domino Directory, check out the Administration Help under ‘Registering users from a text file’. You can put all the registration details into a text file, then import it to create the appropriate person document, create a mail file, notes ID etc as needed.
