Add New Server Community in Notes for Sametime is Grayed Out

I asked this question in the Domino/Notes forum because I thought this issue was with the Notes Client.

I'm trying to add a second Sametime Server to my Notes client Sametime Contacts. The option is greyed out. I attached a picture for clarity.

Anyone have an idea how to add another Sametime community?

This is Notes V11 FP6 on Windows.

higemitsu Tanaka believes Sametime Limited Use (Notes Client Bundled edition), believes multiple communities are restricted. This policy is controlled by Sametime side policy, not Notes policy.

This brings up an interesting situation. I'm working at an organization that has a Domino 8.5.3 Sametime server. We are trying to migrate them to a new Domino V11 Sametime 11.6 server. So how do I test the new server without losing connectivity to the old server? Also how to I migrate groups of users to the new server while allowing them to communicate with the users still on the old server until the migration is completed?

All ideas appreciated.

The first thing to check is the Sametime Community Policy - Specifically im.2011 which is what allows/disallows adding additional communities.

If this is a Sametime Entry environment, this is disabled by default.

We do not support allowing these two environments to connect to each other, so you will need to select a test group and allow them to test the new community while you prepare the migration.
