I have a simple action which when clicked, indents itself to show it has been pressed but fails to do its job. I have signed in as mutliple users on this pc and they all fail.
login on another machine as the “troubled user” and the button works. It’s something on the machine and not an ACL/ECL issue.
I have deleted the notes client , and reinstalled and the problem remains. I installed the new client onto another drive letter D: and not C: as by default… I have checked the postings and found an entry refering to the bookmark database, i tried compacting this and even deleting it tocreate a new one, but alas all fails.
Try searching on in this database for Cache.NDK … seems like that was a culprit on individual PC’s too.
I think we also had this situation a while back and the person was using the classic workspace. We deleted the icon and readded it and it started working again.

Blasted mouse!!!It would appear that if you have a shift key - or Ctrl key - stuck then when you click on the action button the action button indents, but nowt happens. The same is true if a mouse button is stuck!! I only noticed because there was a “ghosting” of a document, which happens if you press the ctrl key and move the document around the “all docs” view.
