ACL on local - cannot rename title

Hi All,

I have following problem:

  • user complain, that she was able to edit archive; she has R7 design and editor access level.

“Funny” thing is, that her workmate have the same template, same rights but he’s able to change archive’s title.

How?

I thought, that it was possible in R5 design where after upgrading it to R7, user was still able do do this. User still has editor level and he was still able to change title (not filename). And i thought, that when user will create archive in R7 - it will not allow him to change anything, because user still have editor rights.

How’s that possible…? Any ideas? User is really pissed “because my friend can and me do not”. Works as designed (ACL)?

I would guess that the other user does not have enforce consistance ACL enabled and the user with the issue does. I say this is because local access should be give her access to make the change.

Have you checked this. The Archive will keep all ACL settings of the mail database.
