I have a resource reservation database on server A. A replica was created on server B.
The thing is, I don’t have the same access rights on server B (I have the default access). I checked the ACL of the replica, it is exactly the same as the original ACL and I should thus be manager…
Can someone explain it?
I thought maybe this is a “enforce consistent acl on all replicas” issue? (this option was not checked when the replica was created)
cheers
Edit : In fact, if I’m specifically in the ACL as a person, I have the correct access
but if I’m part of a group I have the default access
Check th replication settings, Advanced tab and see if the field “Access control list” is selected. If not select it and do a replication.
Also I know it sounds silly but check the spelling of explicit your entry in the acl of replica B. You could try asking a manager to delete your entry and re-enter it but make sure your name is not typed in but rather it is selected form the address book, just to make sure there are no mistakes.
actually it was a cross domain issuethe replica was created on a server from a different domain and it seems you have to add your groups to this domain for them to be recognized
