I am using a Palm T3 running Palm Web Pro v3.0.1a to access my Notes mail file which is replicated to a web server. I can hit the server, log in and read all the mails in all of the folders. I cannot however create a mail or reply to mails as the relevant buttons do not appear. I have been led to believe that I need Java on my Palm to be able to do this and have loaded the J2ME add-on you can get from Palm/IBM, but this still does not work. Does anyone have any clues as to what to do. I have trawled the Palm related boards and a lot of people on those ask similar questions but no-one replies with an answer.
Does the Palm/IBM J2ME download support Java or just Javascript?
We are just using the normal Notes mail template. If we used the iNotes template or Everyplace Access on the server would I be able to see the Create Mail button when looking at it through the Palm browser?
Hope to hear from someone about this soon, even if its just to say, “yes, i have the same problem!”

Thanks for the response.
I am coming in using the Browser on the Tungsten. I do not have a version of Notes on the Palm device (is there one?) My Palm links to the internet through the Web Pro Browser using Blue Tooth to a modile phone and then Vodafone GPRS to the internet. I then link to our web server and log in with Name password etc. Once I am looged in I hit my mail file.
The other thing to note is that I do not think my company are using the iNotes template on this server, I think it is the normal Notes mail template.

Hi Chris
I think you may well have answered your own question. Try the iNotes Template.
Looks like you are using ND6.5 Try the Domino Web Access Mail Template. It’s really nice, has loads of great features in for the Notes Client too. Let me know if you don’t have it and I can mail it to you.

I converted to the iNotes template and ensured that this had replicated to our Domino Web server. I then accessed this through the Palm Web browser and first of all I got a message saying that the Palm Web Browser does not support iNotes (or iNotes does not support the Palm Web Browser, can’t remember which) I was given an option to go in anyway, which I did, and once in I still could not see a button to allow me to compose an email or reply to an existing one.So, in other words, it did not seem to work. Any other ideas anyone?
