Hi All , Some of our notes users are always travelling and would like to access Notes client from their laptop and sametime chat which is available presently in the company network.Outside the company network webmail access is provided but the users want to access Notes client interface .Kindly help me out to configure the same .Any change in location doc setting I need to do ?

Subject: Accessing Lotus Notes client 6.5.4 outside the company netwok
for Notes client: You’ll have to open port 1352 on your router, and link port 1352 to the LAN-IP adress of the Domino server.
for chat: You’ll have to open port 1533 on your router, and link port 1533 to the LAN-IP adress of the Sametime server (may be the same as your Domino server, if it’s installed on the same machine)
the location document:
Tab ‘Basic’ → Location type : LAN-network
Tab ‘Servers’ → Home/postserver : public fixed WAN IP-adres (www.xxx.yyy.zzz) of your network, or hostname of the server, for example or Myserver.Mydomain.com
Tab ‘Servers’ → IM-server: IP-adres: same as Home/postserver, that is if it’s on the same LAN as your domino server.
