Need to create Shared Folders in Lotus Notes 7.0.1 and enable specific users to view them only. So far managed as “User1” with Editor profile to,
1.Create Shared Folder say “Test Folder”
2.Assigned in ACL (Folder Properties) the Lotus User Names that I wish to grant Access to say “User2”.
The question is how to let “User2” see the folder “Test Folder” created in step 1. Would someone shed some light on the exact steps to be performed to achieve the latter. Many thanks in advance.

Are you saying they can’t see the folder, because I would think all they’d have to do is re-open the database and the folder should be there for them to see.

User2 is not able to see the folder of User1 in his Views, (including All Documents) or Folders even after User1 granted him access.
What shall User2 do? If nothing, where is he supposed to see the folder from which option.
