Access to Calendar Entries When User has Denied Access

I am having an issue with users being able to see other users calendar entries even though their preferences have been changed to indicate that Noone can see their calendar entries. The default in the access control list is set to no access as well. Has anyone had this problem? How do I resolve? Also, when selecting the option that the users can only see busy time not details that option is not working as well. The users can see all the details.

If the ACL setting for -Default- is currently “No Access” with “Read Public Documents” checked off then that would explain it, Calendar documents are public documents. You’ll need to remove the check marks from both read and write public documents.

I’m pretty sure that would explain the calendar details as well since you can’t hide the details if the calendar document is already available.
