Anonymous will only apply if :
users are accessing the mail file via a web browser AND
the users are not authenticated with the domino server
The default mail file ACL is ususally
-Default- No Access
Mail File Owner - Manager
LocalDomainServers - Manager
If your user has gone into their calendar profile/Mail preferences and has set up in their delegation that all users can read their calendar and /or all users can read e-mails, this is based on the read and write public documents options in the ACL and will be sufficient to give them access to at least part of the mail file.
If the users can open the mail file but can just see the calendar, check for this. Confusingly you can be ‘No Access’ but still be allowed to read/write public documents . You must remove these ticks and that may solve the problem.

Anonymous is an acl entry for (anonymous) web users.
For Notes access the default entry is “-Default-”
So set “-Default-” to “No Access” in the ACL. (or add if it has been deleted for some reason)
