Accept meeting reqeust in a other folder then Inbox

Hi All,

When i accept a meeting request other then the inbox they don,t dissapear at all.I have a rule that when a mail comes from a person put it in a folder . When i accept a request there it stays there and i can,t delete it rather then i will deleted as well in the calender.

Has anyone a tip where i can change that.

using the (folder icon) / Remove from Folder option?

During normal request processing the entry is removed from the Inbox by the core code. The code has no concept or concerns about other folders the entry may have been put into. You may have put it there after the fact and then are taking another action on it but still want it in the folder.

We could try to guess about removing it but it would only be a guess at best. Also, since it could appear in mulitple folders it would be difficult to know which one to remove it from without getting in your face and asking every time. However this would only make the process too cumbersome for little (if any) gain.

A simpler approach is to let you decide and perform any changes you want when you want. You simply do it by some explicit action such as the action bar buttons or an Agent.

Subject: A couple things to try

In the Action bar in the folder you are in, you should be able to select the Meeting Invitation and click on the Folder Icon drop down and select Remove from Folder.

Additionally, check the preference under Mail - Basics - When I delete a calendar document from any Mail view or folder, and set it to Ask me if I want to remove or delete you will be prompted with a dialog that let’s you remove it from the folder when taking a delete action
