I have a huge problem with desktop private views. I should be able to make a tool, which allow users to move desktop private views of old database to new database.
DXL is not so good solution, because I couldn’t import desktop private views with DXL so that those will appear to new database. Importing those views to new database will raise importer error and importing directly to desktop6.ndk will not show those views in any database other that desktop itself.
I was wondering that could I edit desktop6.ndk file directly with hex editor so that those old views would work in new database. My problem is that I don’t have any idea where in desktop is information about which views are related to which database.
