Does anyone know some code or a setting that can be set in order to get a database to open on the opening of the notes client?
Thanks in advance

you can also use the notes.ini parameter:
startupdb=
ex. startupdb=85256DAD:000F6DD1
this is the replica id of the database you want to first open with the notes client

Does that still work in R6?
/too lazy to try it myself.

I believe there is a startup folder in Lotus Notes that you can add databases to.

The easiest way is to bookmark the database you want to open at startup, then right click on the icon and select ‘Set Bookmark as Homepage’.
You can change back to the Welcome page by going into favorite bookmarks and applying the same process to the Welcome icon.

If you launch notes from an icon you can set the properties accordingly e.g.C:\Lotus\R6\Notes\nlnotes.exe =C:\Lotus\R6\Notes\notes.ini AC02!!mail\hparker.nsf

With the bookmark.nsf database, you can customize the Welcome Page and have access to more than one database.
