Forgive me if I’ve misunderstood but the ACL should prevent unauthorised access.

If someone has access to someone else’s ID file I suggest that getting the someone else to change their password is first and foremost what you should do - you can force this through the ‘password magement’ part of the ‘administration’ tab in the person document in the Domino directory.

If someone already has authorised access to someone else’s mailbox you can find out who is accessing it by clicking the ‘user detail’ button on the 2nd tab of the database properties box. Alternatively you can look at the ‘usage by database’ view in the server log.

Sir

our case is littile different

Whenever i create any new account i pass the id file to different section were their responsibility to install the notes clients and configure the id file to the new staff

my concern is that if the user change his password still the staff in the technichal department who already have copy of that id with a deafult password can open the mail from their client

waiting for your feedback please

Thanks
