A question about Embedded View

Ciao,I have a form with a field called “RagSoc” and a button. When users click this botton opens a view called “Doc2006” that shows all documents of this year for the name typed in RagSoc.

I use this formula:

@Command([FileOpenDatabase];“”:“NameDatabase.nsf”;“Doc 2006”);

RagSoc1 :=RagSoc;

@UpdateFormulaContext;

@SetViewInfo([SetViewFilter]; RagSoc1 ; “ProgrammaticNameColumn”; 1)

And runs…

Now I want change this form. I want insert an embedded view of Doc 2006 and I want that when user opens this form he can see only the documents where in the programmatic Name of column appears the name typed in field “RagSoc”, whitout any buttons. Unfortunately I’m not expert in Embedded Elements (English too…I hope you understand).

Many thanks and have a nice day (or night…it depends from your time zone…)

Ciaooooo!

Subject: A question about Embedded View

hi ciao,

try this and tell me.

  1. make a view categoried by name.

  2. Embed this view into the form.

  3. in the embeded view property → “show single category” event you write the name of field (from u wnt the name )

i hope it will work.
