A folder or view with that name exists already

Hi!When one of our users try to open a database she gets the error “A folder or view with that name exists already”.

The database opens a frameset and in one frame there is a private view. Private on first use.

The user is roaming and I tried to delete everything in the data-folder and restart but that didn’t help.

She was able to open it earlier.

The database works fine for everybody else.

Any suggestions?

Subject: Try removing the database/application from the Desktop/Workspace

Perhaps the private view is stored in your Desktop/Workspace, and perhaps somebody else has created the private view there.

Try removing the application/database from your Desktop/Workspace… you may be prompted to delete the private view. And then re-add the application/database back to your Desktop/Workspace.

I just had this wonderful experience too and the only thing that fixed it (after compacting, updalling, fixuping, removing the workspace icon, and deleting the cache.ndk) was to delete (or rename) the bookmarks.nsf file to bookmarks.nsf_old. Of course the downside to this fix is losing all your workspace icons.
