We recently upgraded from Notes 8.0 to 8.5. I found that Fix Pack 1 was available, and downloaded it from Lotus. When I tried to install, the InstallShield Wizard gives me the message:Error - version mismatch. Expected to find version: “20081211.1925”, found version(s):“”.
How can I avoid this message and complete the install?

I get the same error attempting to install FP1 on an “all clients” single user install of Notes 8.5 on WinXP SP3. I have checked the registry and all entries point to the correct dir path, which is C:\Lotus\Notes\Data.

Same issue here for me aswell. tried wiping my ini re-configuring notes, then again, still the same.Windows XP SP3
Subject: Sort of a solution…
I had the same thing. Ultimately, the registry still thought that version 6.54 was installed because the initial 8.5 installation never fully completed (even though 8.5 was working). So, I uninstalled Notes, then deleted all relevant Notes stuff from the registry (HKLM\Software\Lotus and HKCU\Software\IBM and Lotus) and then reinstalled fresh. After that, I was able to apply the fix pack.
My initial failed install was as a result of a corrupt updatesite.zip file.
