As I use Eclipse as well, I can see the logic behind this move, but please not at the cost of less efficiency and functionality !
The client is still a bit buggy, ok, its new, so this get’s solved over the time. But i.e. access to the help is pedantically; it costs too much time to to go down the tree again and again. If one searches in the help one has to click after entering the search string on the Go button; the CR is not enough …aaarg. First time I was waiting around 20 seconds before it came into my mind, that someone really wants to force me to click on that GO button.
One can’t open several editor windows at a time like in the old designer,a great feature if on works with several screens and/or virtual desktops. It was so easy to compare design objects i.e. a form or a library with an old version. That’s a serious loss of functionality.
Will IBM/Lotus give us soon this functionality back ?
