Moved our Domino server from a 2003 (32bit) server to a 2008 (64bit) server. Backups via the lotus notes agent from backup exec were running fine on the new 2008 server until I made the domino server a service. At that point, the backup exec agent started to fail.From what I have looked at so far, it appears to be a premission issue. Something about server 2008 and being able to run/execute other programs. I believe it has to do with the reason why you have to run the Java Console when you run domino as a service on a server 2008.
I could go back to running domino as an application, but that is not an option.
Does anybody have any suggestions ?
