After upgrading to 8.5.1 - when I rollover a name in the Sametime sidebar it no longer shows me the user info - typically the status message and location was shown. Currently I am just seeing the name and that is it. I’m not seeing a setting anywhere to reset. Anyone else seeing this?

8.5.1 has the new Connections Business Card. It will show federated data from Sametime, Profiles and the Notes Name & Address book.So you use the embedded Sametime client. Do you also use Connections ?
Is there a difference depending on where you invoke the card (eg. Inbox vs. buddylist)?
Are you “online” in Sametime / Notes?
Anything obvious in the logs (Help / Support / View Trave) when you hover over a new name?
This sounds like a config issue.

We do have Connections 2.0.1 - I am not logged into it. Can we go back to just picking up the ST status only?
I am logged/online in the Notes embedded client - standalone is not running.
The business card is blank in both the buddy list in the sidebar and in the inbox.
Are we logging something when you hover? That seems excessive. I’ll check. Should I turn something on to trace that detail?
What configuration fixes do we need to make?
It used to pick up the ST status messages that we used as a nice quick way to let others know what you were doing - so we would say Available@customer - etc. So now you don’t get that and we don’t get a consistent business card.
It also looks like sometimes I see the business card and then with the same user(after I log off/close Notes and then come back on) - with that same user I do not see the business card anymore. So it is very odd - but out of 300 or so users in a buddy list maybe 10-20 show the business card now.

I just install the 8.5.1 and I have the same problem has users in this post, I can see only the name in the business card…
Is was working with 8.5 so what is the reason that it is not working with 8.5.1
I only install the version to 2-3 IT peoples. What is the solution to solve this issue

I had that checked - On further review I see some but not all users(we have lots of users - so maybe 1 in 15 show status/location). It looks like certain users get picked up and data from the business card shows. For others it does not - I tried working with one of them and he has the sharing of the location data checked on the Geographic location.
For some reason it is now pulled from somewhere else in 8.5.1 because in the standalone client I see all the status/location user data for everyone - not the business cards.
So in 8.5.1 it is pulling in the data for elsewhere - looks like I need to dig deeper.

Hovering the Sametime contact on the sidebar gives a blank business card.Rolling over the inbox shows me the real business cards for some people.
