Can someone tell me if we can use smartupgrade to upgrade Notes clients from 6.5.5 to 7.0.1 ?If yes, which upgrade kit(s) should we get (patch kits or client upgrade kits) ?

Yes you can use SmartUpgrade to go from 6.x to 701.
You need to use a full install kit (either from a CD or a webkit) to upgrade from 6.x to 7.x there is no patch kit (would be way too larged).
