6.5.1 AND IM popup window

I am running Lotus Notes Client 6.5.1 (windows)

And I am having some inconstancies with the IM window

On some users PC’s the new IM windows pops-up and on others it starts minimized, am I missing the setting to control this?

When you make the client setup, you can choose the way you log onto IM Server…aka, at Notes log on, or manuallyDoes it make sense???

Eliseu that does make sense.

However I am referring to when someone initiates an IM chat with another user, on some PC’s the new IM windows pops-up on top of any open applications, whilst on others it starts minimized on the status bar.

I have the exact same problem. I went so far as to un-install my client and remove all references to anything having to do with Sametime. I then reinstalled teh 6.5.1 client and the pop ups still come.

i had this same problem. ON your sametime server, remove the prefereence document of the particular user who has this problem. Next time when he launches notes it will be good.

But this may be the “good” solution.

Really!!! That is great! I just have one question…where do I find the “preference document” I’m not sure what database on the sametime server I’m looking for.

Ooops! Never mind…I found it. I deleted all references to my id out of the VPUSERINFO.NSF database and it worked!
