Everytime I do anything in the background on my client, eg create a copy of a new database or run an agent in a background thread I always get a strange message in the status bar saying:
KBytes Left: 4,193,844, Less than a minute remaining.

Needless to say the figure never actually reaches 0. In fact I get the feeling that it’s the same 4Gb everytime I see the message.
Any ideas what’s going on?

Subject: 4Gb of ‘what’ is left?
This little puzzle is still driving me nuts.
The other day I actually made a local copy of an 8Gb database.
I watched the mystery 4Gb figure counting down towards zero and thought that when the counter got to zero my problems would be over.
Lo and behold, the counter got to zero before the 8Gb db copy was complete and then… the damn thing went back up to 4Gb and started all over again!
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?
