I have noticed that when I do anything with my mail (read a message, move a message, receive a message etc), the nlnotes.exe process uses 100% of a CPU for 10+secs to a few minutes. If my mail is vaguely active (ie: I’m using it), it will just use 100% CPU continuously. This was also happening with 8.5.1 FP4 (and previous FP versions I think), I’m currently on 8.5.2.
I have tried deleting the full text index and recreating with no options selected (ie: no attachments etc).
I have also run fixup and compact on it, and these don’t appear to have helped either.
I have a 6GB mail file (after running an archive to remove items older than 3 years).
