Hi All,
My Inbox is constantly showing 1 unread even though I have gone through my Inbox and All Documents and there’s no unread e-mail.
Any ideas?
I’ve just upgraded to Notes 6.01 from Notes 6 and still no joy. It’s just annoying.

I’ve found it’s quite often a calendar document… Or an archive settrings one. Something like that, that you wouldn’t normally think of.

Subject: Goto the All Documents view, and hit the Tab key (navigate next unread).
Answer yes to every prompt when it can’t find the Unread doc.

We are on Domino 6.0.2CF1 on our AS/400 server and one of our users is on Notes 6.0.2CF2 and he had one item showing unread in his Inbox view. We went to every view and marked all as read. We then went to the All Documents view and marked all as read. The Inbox view still showed 1 item unread. He tried (CTRL+Shift+F9) and that didn’t work. I tried load updall mail<hismaildatabase>.nsf -R from the server console and that didn’t work. I had him open his mail box and go to Edit>Unread Marks>Scan Unread. This told him that he did in fact have an unread item that could not be displayed in any view. It let him delete it and his Inbox view shows no unread documents now. I don’t know how a document got stuck in limbo like that, but that fixed him. I hope it works for you (and me in the future when it happens again).

did you take a look to the Trash. I had the same one time and found an unread message there.

I have the same, we emptied the trash, the all document view is empty and it’s still showing 1 unread. But I notice that using another client with another Id shows the right number. Anybody with an answer?

The answer that I give my users is that unread marks never worked very well and still don’t.
If they complain, I offer to turn off the unread marks feature to avoid confusion. Strangely they always want to keep them.

Same here & was just about to post when I saw yours! It’s funny how the smallest things can drive us nuts but my users will go crazy over this.
