Hi,
We have a database that a number of travelling people use. Unfortunately the ACL was modified, and the ‘Replicate or Copy documents’ was unchecked within the ACL. After a scheduled replication all users were then denied future replication (as expected). After re-enabling the ‘Replicate or Copy documents’ checkbox for all users, some of them still cannot replicate the database.
One of the users even deleted his local replica and the icon to the server replica. Rebooted then tried to recreate his local replica without success.
The error we get is ‘Your not authorised to perform that operation’,
The same error is received if we try to create brand new replica…
Can anyone shed some light into why this would still happen after the ACL was corrected?
Thanks in advance for your help

Might be worth reviewing the ACL to see how many entries apply to them. You should see a cursory history of what changed in the ACL history.

What I did was to remove them from all groups. Then explicitly granted the user manager access… still unable to create a local replica…

Perhaps other changes were made to the ACL which effectively denies users access to the database. Can they open the database on the server and use it without any problems?

Thanks for your response. Then can access the application on the server without any problems. The security button suggests Editor access which is correct.
