Your Account is locked out: see your system adminstrator to reset it

We have migrate users from 6.5.4 to 8.0.1(basic)some month ago.

We have a policy to force users to change password every 60 days.

This policy doesn’t work anymore.

When we try to change password from the client. We have the error msg Account is locked out: see your administrator to reset it.

We have try many change on the user definition:

  • don’t check password

  • no policy

  • etc.

No success. We try offline same tinks

Do you have some solutions ?

Hello,

We have restarted from scrash the policy setup.

We try again to apply the policy to 10 users and we have the same problem Account locked. When we try to change password we have the error message “Account locked”.

Is anybody have a solotion ?

We try to clean the person document on the address book without succes (pw digest etc)

Dear Sir,

I try to do that but it doesn’t work.

I remove Password diggest, password check etc…

No change, impossible to access Security\User security menu.

If I try offline it the same things.

Somebody no where on the client the account locked parameted is ? notes.ini ?

Subject: Administrator account is locked out in domino server

When I have selected server name from administrator client to domino traveler, it will alert message: Server Error:your account is locked out;see your system administrator to reset it.

Subject: Your Account is locked out: see your system adminstrator to reset it

In my case, for this error check Domino Server’s Date and time. if its a future date , you will receive this message on domino console and no body will be able to authenticate to the server.

So change to operating system date and time to correct one.

Hope this will solve the issue.

Subject: Your account has been locked & password expired

When the password is expired, I have the user initiate the password change (clicking OK on the message then changing in the messagebox), I clear the password digest in their person doc, then have the user restart Notes which kicks off the password change via adminp.
