You Cannot enable your out of office because your mailbox has exceeded its quota

One of our users is having the following problem:“You cannot enable your out-of-office notification because your mailbox has exceeded its quota. > Choose Tools > Quota Information for quota details and tips on decreasing your mailbox size.”

We do not have a max quota. I’ve tried compacting. Any other help? I’ve tried google, IBM, etc…

There was an issue where if the user had Designer access in ACL of their mail file, but did not have the “Create LotusScript/Java agents” option checked, then this message would come up. Once the option was checked, then the error went away.

Please, see if that is the case in this scenario.

I checked the admin client and the user is under designer and the LotusScripts/Java … wasn’t checked so I checked marked it. The user is not at their desk right now so I’ll have to wait.
