You are not authorized to perform that operation

Hello,

i have following problem:

We have blackberry server they connect to more domino server/domino domains.

This works fine witch connection dokuments and cross certificates.

We use to connect to mail databases this entry */SVR/Blackberry with Manager Rights.

This also works fine but 2 days ago we get this error “You are not authorized to perform that operation” on the domino server.

I cannot find any problem some user told me that they can also receive mails on there blackberry device. This error appear only for one Domain the other Domains works fine.

If we change the */SVR/Blackberry to Server1/SVR/Blackberry this error disappears.

Does anyone have a idea what can be wrong?

I hope you can understand my bad english

LG Dani

The access control list entry will accept wildcards (*/domain) rather than name/domain in the normal course of events. The only problems I can think of would be that either:

  1. the access control list entry has been given a “type” that defines it as “person group” or “person” instead of “server” or “server group” or “mixed group” or

  2. The cross certificate for that domain has been either lost, mixed up or set up incorrectly. Did it ever work OK?
