You are not authorized to access that database

I am receiving this complaint from 3-4 users daily that they are getting error message “You are not authorised to access that database” while opening their own mail file. The user’s ACL is perfectly OK and certificates in id file also match with that in person document.

Temporary workaround is to recover id file and reconfigure the Lotus notes client with this fresh copy of id file.

Trying to reconfigure client with same id file does not works nor simply replacing the id file gives any result.

Has anyone have solution to this issue please.

Subject: More observations

When the user gets error “You are not authorized…” the warning message on Domino Server Console is ATTEMPT TO ACCESS DATABASE Mail\userfile.nsf by Anonymous was denied.

Also the User’s Notes Status bar displays “Your account is locked out”
